The communication medium used are often GPS (Global Positioning System) GSM (Global System for Mobile) GIS (Geographic Information System) GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) or SMS. The unit is given a RS 232 ports for configuration and may be remotely configured. it’s a SOS push button for emergency situation to speak through predefined figures or servers. A speech module also exists for two way communication.
